Job Description

Sourcing /development of knits & woven fabric content as cotton, viscose, Polyester, other blended fabrics, laces/embroideries, denims for different customers- as printed /solid/YD.
Product development of woven fabrics in print, solid & YD .
Submit new fabric qualities as per season & buyer requirement.
Approval of lab dips, strike-off from buyer.
To get In-house all sampling yardages & bulk fabric.
To negotiate the prices of bulk & sampling with suppliers.
Production planning with Factories, sourcing & production team in order to meet the plan cut dates in order to meet the committed dates.
Approve fabric inspection sheet and analyses in case of fabric rejection.
Understanding the buyer’s requirement of quality (count, construction, content, feel, etc).
To keep record of all bulk/sampling done with buyers
